**About this Role**
The Executive Protection Driver is tasked with conducting close protection driving and mobile services on a protective security detail in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role will be responsible for safeguarding and providing professional secured transportation for the principal, family members, guests and support staff.
As with all CAI roles, qualified candidates must have the highest level of professionalism, common sense and ability to competently operate in a continually evolving environment. This role will require the CAI professional to work both independently and in a team environment while responding to any situation that may arise while supporting the client. This role requires the ability to interact with all levels of corporate management, liaison internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
* Provide covert and overt executive protection and driving to the designated principal(s).
* Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals, and passengers in transit
* Operate in a safe and legal manner and be familiar with a variety motor vehicles.
* Have a proven history of strong leadership, teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) in a clear and precise manner.
* Partner with Advance Teams and Executive Protection Agents to conduct advances.
* Represent CAI at the highest professional level.
* Work with cross-functional teams.
* Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
* Comply with and enhance role related policies and procedures.
* Have the ability to travel domestically and overseas if required.
**Skills and Experience**
* A combination of 4-6 years of relevant security driving experience, chauffer and/or military PSD/law enforcement experience
* Applicants should be in good overall physical, mental and emotional condition.
* Have a solid reputation of being a team player with a get it done attitude.
* Recent experience driving for prominent principals or C-suite Executives.
* Must be a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Strong understanding of all facets of EP operations.
* A customer service, client first mindset with a strong attention to detail.
* Experience and understanding of corporate culture and the Ultra High Net Wealth community.
* Maintain highly sensitive and confidential information and abide by NDAs
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, direct and concise manner.
**Required**
* Must have a BSIS guard card, First Aid, CPR & AED certification.
* Candidates must have a bachelor s degree; Advanced degree preferred. Candidates with extensive military, corporate security or law enforcement experience, preferably in a military special operations branch, protective operations with a minimum of 4 years experience can be substituted for education.
* Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
* Must possess a good understanding of the basic technology including smartphones, communications platforms and collaboration apps and their use while in the field.
* Must adhere to company grooming standards and be remain physically fit.
* Successfully pass initial and periodic background and drug screening.
* A working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
* Maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance.
* Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
**Desired**
* Bachelors degree or higher education.
* Training in defensive tactics, defensive driving, EVOC, and surveillance/counter surveillance.
* Graduate from an industry recognized executive protection school.
* Basic POST, Active First Responder, Paramedic or EMT certifications.
* HR218 or California CCW permit
**Compensation & Benefits**
* Up to $105,000 annually Based on experience training and other related qualifications.
* After 90 days and successful completion of all initial training and probationary period, all full time (non-seasonal) employees are eligible for medical benefits.
