Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be an essential part of the Mantel department supporting the staining and finishing of wood mantels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Painter

Location: Spruce Pine, NC

Pay Range: $15

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00AM-3:30PM)

What's the Job?

• Staining wood mantels with precision and care
• Applying clear lacquer over stained wood to ensure a high-quality finish
• Using pressurized paint guns to achieve a smooth, even coat
• Following safety procedures, including grounding paint drums, tanks, and containers to prevent static electricity
• Utilizing respirators and obtaining necessary medical releases to ensure safety compliance

What's Needed?

• Experience with painting, staining, or finishing wood surfaces is preferred
• Ability to operate pressurized paint guns effectively
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and material handling
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols, including respirator use and static grounding
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
