About the Employer

The Irvine Unified School District comprises a diverse population of more than 36,000 PK-12 students in one early childhood learning center, 24 elementary schools, five K-8 schools, six middle schools, five high schools and one alternative high school. IUSD schools have been nationally recognized for comprehensive programs in academics, the arts, and athletics.

Notice about AB2534 section within the application:
Please make sure that you are listing ALL schools or school districts (including out-of-state/out-of-country) where you have previously held a Certificated Substitute, Certificated Teaching, or Certificated position ("Certificated" means that you had to have a credential in order to do the job) within this section of the application - it is different than your work history. IUSD will not be able to complete the hiring process until we have sent out, and received back, an AB2534 inquiry from each of your previous schools or school districts. Teaching Assistants, Instructional Assistants or Instructional Aide positions are not considered certificated and do not need to be included in the AB2534 section.
Edjoin notifies you multiple times that this section is required. If you leave it blank, and have previously worked at multiple schools/districts per your work history and resume, your application will be considered incomplete and you will not be considered for hire.
