Associate Business Management Analyst / Analyst II – Title change effective January 1, 2026. This classification is advertised as an Associate Business Management Analyst (4742) and will be converted to the Analyst II (5393) classification on January 1, 2026.

Under the direction of the Administrator I within the Business Services Unit, the Postal Liaison & BudgetSupport Analyst performs a variety of tasks in support of the varied and complex functions within theBusiness Services Unit. Working closely with internal customers, vendors, and subject matter experts toprepare accurate reports, supporting documentation, and update management on industry standardsand changing regulations. Reviews and analyzes legislation and United States Postal Services (USPS)mandates that impact the department’s mail and warehouse operations. Works with management andsenior staff to identify, design, enhance, and maximize Business Services enterprise services includingSharePoint and self-service options.

Working Conditions

  • This position is eligible for limited remote working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework. This is subject to change.
