Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Part-Time Event Manager to manage client relationships, convert leads into bookings, and oversee flawless event execution— from large weddings to intimate gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as main client contact, lead planning meetings, and conduct venue tours.
• Create detailed event schedules and collaborate with clients on third-party vendor services (catering, décor, entertainment, photography, etc.).
• Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events; act as on-site lead for clients and vendors.
• Manage issues calmly and ensure policies, contracts, and safety standards are followed.
• Conduct post-event walkthroughs, maintain event files, and provide feedback.
• Respond to inquiries, follow up on leads, and conduct weekly site/property checks.
• Coordinate with vendors on property upkeep and provide regular updates to ownership.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years in event management, hospitality, or related field (wedding/special event experience preferred).
• Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
• Professional, adaptable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma required; hospitality or event planning training preferred.
• Prefers someone who is located within 30-to-40-mile radius to the property location.

* Part-Time (Evenings, Weekends, Event-Specific Hours) | Hybrid (Remote & Onsite)
Compensation
• Rate: $20/hour • Hours: ~10 administrative hours per week, plus event hours
• Bonus: Offers bonus on event net revenues paid quarterly plus tiered bonus plan on annual profits paid annually.
