About us Scorpion Security Solutions LLC is a private investigation company based out of Richmond Virginia. We specialize in video Electronic Surveillance, fugitive recovery. The Scorpion team also officers other services such as Private Security (both unarmed and armed), Process Serving, Skip Tracing, Background checks, etc. Scorpion Security contracts bail bondsman agencies and we work hand-in-hand with some law-enforcement agencies to track down fugitives within the United States.
Our team consists of previous law-enforcement personnel, Mix Martial Arts specialists, and investigative experience. We give you the results you are looking for in a Security Firm. We are the one stop shop.
We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety of our premises, personnel, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the premises, responding to alarms, conducting investigations, and monitoring surveillance equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a professional security team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitor and adjust security systems or equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week

Armed Security Guard
$16.00 - $17.50 an hour, Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to protect personnel and property
- Monitor and operate systems to detect and prevent security breaches
- Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner
- Conduct thorough inspections of individuals, vehicles, and packages entering or leaving the premises
- Enforce access control procedures and verify identification of individuals
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary
Skills:
- Must possess a valid armed guard certification or license
- Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment and CCTV systems
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies
- Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in law enforcement or military is highly desirable
