Internal Medicine - Physician at UH Cleveland Medical Center - University Hospitals summary:

This position is for a Hospitalist/Nocturnist Internal Medicine physician providing inpatient care at a University Hospitals medical center in the Greater Cleveland area. The role involves managing adult patients during hospital stays, collaborating with primary care and specialty teams, and working 12-hour shifts on a rotational schedule. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine with an active Ohio Medical License and demonstrate proficiency in hospital medicine procedures.

Work Site and Opportunity Highlights:

University Hospitals seeks a Hospitalist/Nocturnist to join one of our Medical Centers in the Greater Cleveland area. Hospitalists/Nocturnist are on-site physicians who specialize in caring for adult patients during their hospital stay. They manage the care of their patients in conjunction with a patient’s primary care physician and in consultation from specialty teams when appropriate.

1. Schedule is one week on, one week off. During the work week, physicians are expected to work a twelve hour shift.
2. Ten PTO days, in addition to every other week off
3. Additional productivity incentives

Qualifications - External

1. Board-certified or Board-eligible Internal Medicine Physician
2. Active Ohio Medical License in good standing upon effective date of employment
3. Must be skilled and provide evidence of proficiency in procedures associated with hospital medicine

Additional Salary Detail:

University Hospitals compensates physicians in alignment with AAMC guidelines, generally within the 25th to 75th percentile range based on specialty and experience.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed reflects a good faith estimate of the potential base compensation for this physician position at the time of posting. This range is subject to change and may be updated in the future. Actual compensation will be determined by various factors, including (but not limited to) location, specialty, academic rank, board certification, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, internal equity, etc. Unless otherwise noted, this figure does not include incentive pay or the value of University Hospitals’ comprehensive benefits package.
