FTE: 0.001000, Optional part-time Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: This role is to help support our employer groups (External clients) within SE WI to help administer our Health Appraisal (Biometrics). Peak season and hours are higher July - December (i.e. 10,15, 20+ hours each week).
The Health Coach will assist with assessing, planning, designing, and implementing the Wellness Works or Workforce Health program, as well as presenting on various health topics to corporate clients. This individual will assist and interact with departments to develop services that meet the needs of Froedtert Health customers. Travel is required. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Two to three years of corporate wellness/health education/program development/community relations/presentation experience is required. Healthcare organization experience is preferred. Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing strategies preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's degree in health/community education, exercise physiology, or related healthcare/wellness field is required. A Master's degree with an emphasis in the health care field is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Working knowledge of personal computer and various audiovisual equipment including Microsoft Suite. Demonstrates evidence of group facilitation, integrity, initiative, written and verbal communication skills.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Valid Driver's License is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire. Wellness or Health Coaching certification endorsed by NSHC, ACE or Wellcoaches is preferred.
