Film Sponsorship and Partnerships Scout (Competitive Commission Structure) Giaver Productions LLC , a Washington, DC-based independent film production company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Film Sponsorship Scout to secure funding for our upcoming thriller, Sold (Working Title), written by Italian director Paolo Fulvio Mazzacane. About the Film: Sold (WT) is a suspenseful thriller set entirely within the confines of a decaying mansion. After years abroad, a financially struggling art historian returns to her dying mother's home and discovers a mysterious painting that opens a dangerous web of family secrets. The film is currently in development, presenting a unique opportunity for a Sponsorship Scout to shape its financial foundation. This project offers significant potential for festival recognition and critical acclaim, providing sponsors with unique opportunities for brand alignment and impactful storytelling. Responsibilities: Identify and engage potential sponsors (companies, foundations, organizations) whose interests align with the film's themes and target audience. Develop compelling presentations and marketing materials that effectively showcase the film's potential and sponsorship benefits. Secure sponsorship agreements that deliver mutual value and contribute to the film's financial success. Cultivate and manage relationships with sponsors, ensuring clear communication and a positive partnership experience. Collaborate with the production team to integrate sponsors organically into the film, while maintaining narrative integrity. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of sponsorship initiatives, providing regular reports on performance and ROI. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in film, communications, marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of securing sponsorships, with preference given to candidates with experience in the film industry or related creative sectors. Strong understanding of marketing and branding principles. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and oral. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative, proactiveness, and a results-oriented approach. Passion for film and a genuine interest in contributing to the success of Sold (WT).
