Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fashion Designer with extensive expertise in women’s athletic apparel to join our team. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to final production, ensuring that each piece meets our high standards of fit, quality, and performance.

  • Essential Responsibilities Creative Product Development: Design and develop innovative athletic apparel collections aligned with brand vision.
  • Project Management: Track and manage design projects to meet deadlines and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Technical Illustration & Tech Packs: Create detailed technical sketches and comprehensive tech packs for manufacturers.
  • Manufacturer Communication: Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure accurate execution of designs, fit, and materials.
  • Brand Standards & Quality Control: Maintain consistency in fit, function, and aesthetic while ensuring high-quality production standards.
  • Fit & Performance Testing: Conduct daily fit sessions on live models and provide efficient feedback to improve product fit and functionality.
  • Material & Color Development: Approve lab dips, color swatches, and fabric selections to maintain brand consistency.
  • Deadline Management: Adhere to strict production timelines and proactively resolve any delays or challenges.

  • Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in live model fittings and apparel design, specifically in women’s athletic wear.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other design software for technical sketches and spec sheets.
  • Strong understanding of pattern making, grading, and garment construction methods.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and creative design solutions.
  • Receptive to feedback and critique, with the ability to make adjustments efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications Experience working with performance fabrics and activewear-specific construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
