Here at Bruce Seed Farm we are currently seeking to hire somebody for a permanent position. Bruce Seed Farm is a seed production farm of over 25 different varieties of native and introduced grass, legume, and cover crop seed. We're located in Townsend, MT along the Missouri river in Broadwater county, and provide an excellent opportunity for somebody to work in a very diverse, unique, and exciting industry.
The position would be an opportunity for somebody to put their knowledge from a college degree to work along with the opportunity to still do typical hands on farm work. This would be a great position for somebody to apply and increase their knowledge of soils, fertility, plant health, irrigation, moisture monitoring, chemigation and crop rotation as it relates to seed production and quality. Ideally we're looking for somebody with a strong farm background, able to operate farm machinery to assist in planting, spraying, swathing, combining, seed processing, etc., as well as being able to maintain equipment/service equipment.
Our location provides the opportunity to live close to some of the most pristine and sought after recreation opportunities in the west, as we're close to Yellowstone NP, Glacier NP and right along the Missouri river here in our valley. Townsend is a place that provides that small town feel and is a great place to raise a family.
