Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

$100,000 - $120,000 per year + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role:

As an EHS Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and environmental compliance of the company's facilities and activities. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of EHS programs, including environmental management, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, product safety, emergency response planning, and more.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with site personnel to identify hazards and implement corrective measures
• Maintain site management systems, incident management databases, and EHS compliance calendars
• Foster proactive safety participation and ensure the reporting and investigation of incidents
• Develop, implement, and uphold environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Support the industrial hygiene program through monitoring and exposure assessments
• Participate in quality assurance and continual improvement processes
• Ensure all essential EHS program documentation is maintained
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities, insurance carriers, and EHS consultants

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or science, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field (preferred but not required)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, environmental, or supervisory roles, preferably within chemical manufacturing or a related industry
• In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, management systems, and excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding organization and presentation skills with a proven track record of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%) as needed

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
