We ate a semi-private facility located in the heart of the up and coming Scotts addition, we offer personal training. small group classes, and yoga. We are a safe and open space for all, and we hire accordingly.
Role Description
This is an on-site role located in Richmond, VA for a Certified Personal Trainer. As a Certified Personal Trainer at Colonial Fit RVA, you will be responsible for creating personalized fitness programs for clients based on their individual goals, needs and abilities. You will also provide guidance and support on proper exercise techniques, equipment usage, and nutrition. The Certified Personal Trainer would be expected to maintain accurate records of client progress and participate in team meetings. Looking for a self starter that does need to be micromanaged. This is a 1099 position with no set hours, but we are a busy and growing gym, so we need someone willing to work amd out in some time to meet the needs of our clientele.
Qualifications
Certified as a Personal Trainer by a nationally recognized organization (e.g. ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, etc.)
Preferably 2 years of experience working as a Personal Trainer
Excellent communication skills with an ability to motivate clients towards achieving their fitness goals
Ability to develop and implement effective individualized fitness programs
Strong knowledge of proper exercise techniques, equipment usage, and nutrition
Ability to modify workouts for clients with physical limitations or injuries
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records of client progress
Group X instruction is a plus, trainers paid separately for classes taught.
