LAMICO Transport, LLC. is seeking experienced professional Box Truck drivers to join our team. We haul materials for a leading supplier servicing the Chicagoland area.
The ideal candidate for this position will be:
At least 21 years of age
Hold a valid CDL
Or regular driver's license
Must have at least 6 months of driving experience within the last 3 years
Criminal Background
A felony within the last 7 years is an immediate disqualification.
A misdemeanor within 5 years will require review.
Violations
No suspensions or revocations for moving violations within the last 6 months. Multiple suspensions in the last 3 years will be reviewed.
Incidents should not exceed 3 in the last 3 years and 1 in the last year. Safety review is required.
HOS Violations on the PSP relating to driver fatigue should reflect none in the past year.

No reckless/Careless driving within the past 5 years
No DUI or under the influence of drugs
As a solo driver, you must be able to operate a commercial vehicle during all weather conditions. The successful candidate will be dedicated to ensuring that loads and drivers arrive on time, by operating vehicles in a timely, safe and efficient manner. This position offers competitive pay, and you will be part of a highly motivated team.
Responsibilities
Tarp and secure loads on trucks as needed.
Maintained cleanliness of the truck and refrigeration equipment (if applicable).
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, reach overhead, and kneel.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Willingness to take on some weekends, night shifts and holidays shifts.
Punctuality is important. Ability to stay on schedule.
