SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Full Time Day Assisted Living Administrator at The Village at Sprenkle Drive in York, PA.
Education/Training: PA State LPN License Required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration, or related field preferred; must meet current requirements for Assisted Living Administrators as required by the Department of Human Services; current CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or obtaining CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days of starting the position).
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory/management capacity in assisted living or related healthcare normally required.
Essential Duties:
Oversees the overall operation of the assigned assisted living residence.
Develops and maintains (reviews annually) written procedures which govern the operation of the residence.
Ensures day-to-day operative compliance with established standards and procedures.
Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and teamwork.
Strives to consistently maintain targeted census
Maintains ongoing client/constituent communication initiatives including the following:
Maintains liaison with residents, their families, clients, and other assisted living constituents.
Represents the Residence in dealing with outside agencies, congregations, governmental agencies, etc.
Coordinates with Communications staff to ensure that informational material (brochures, manuals, marketing material, fund-raising material, etc.) is accurate, fully descriptive, and in compliance with existing LSS corporate guidelines.
Maintains a customer oriented service program.
Assures that an acceptable Plan of Correction is prepared to address deficiencies noted as a result of surveys/inspections ; provides copies of the Plan to appropriate staff.
Oversees the admissions process into the Residence.
Serves as primary liaison with the Executive Director and corporate staff.
Serves on and/or chairs various committees.
Serves as a member of the Village Team.
