The stunning resort features 433 rooms (to include 51 impeccably designed suites and 10 spacious family suites ), 65,000 square feet of meeting space ( 40,000 indoor and 25,000 outdoor ), a tranquil spa, two 18-hole golf courses, and 6 food and beverage outlets. In this role, you will craft events with creativity to maximize revenue and enhance the event experience. A crucial aspect is the maintenance of established relationships with weddings and social accounts. As an Event Manager specializing in Weddings and Social events, your responsibilities encompass documenting events and liaising with hotel departments and clients to guarantee uniform, superior service during all stages of the events. You will pinpoint opportunities to boost revenue through upselling and offering additional features to produce outstanding events. As the Wedding and Special Events Manager, your duties include negotiating business through proposals and contracts to secure deals. You will creatively design menus and events to maximize both revenue and the event experience. It's also your responsibility to maintain existing relationships with corporate and social accounts. In this role, you will handle event documentation and coordinate with Sales, hotel departments, and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases. This position typically manages complex events. You are expected to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service and back to sales. You will identify opportunities to maximize revenue by upselling and offering enhancements to create exceptional events. Acting as the primary contact for the event planner after turnover on property, you are accountable for their experience. Additionally, you may assist and represent the Director of Catering and Events. Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards: Organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals. Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person. Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations. Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes. Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts. Selling and influencing both internal and external clients. Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution. Ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed. Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary. Other duties as necessary based on business needs. Regular attendance. What are we looking for? Minimum Years of Experience: two (2) years Hospitality related experience at manager level. Experience of Supervision or management of 1-3 people. Other requirements: Travel percentage: 10% The ideal candidate will have previous hotel/hospitality experience with weddings, galas and other social events. Delphi and Luxury experience is preferred.
