JOB TITLE: Unarmed Security Guard Services
LOCATION: Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, 450 Auburn Avenue, NE Atlanta , GA 30312
DUTIES: - Provide unarmed security services.
- Provide a Guard Log, to log arrival and departure times and the arrival of deliveries and services to the National Park Service.
- Assist National Park Service personnel with pedestrian traffic control, when necessary during special events or emergencies.
- Operate National Park Service issued hand-held digital two-way radio and/or telephone to relay information to appropriate personnel.
- Assist the National Park Service Chief Range or Law Enforcement Ranger and other emergency personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS: - A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
- Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats.
- Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
