Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to contribute valuable expertise in a dynamic surgical environment. This role involves supporting a diverse range of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedic, obstetrics, gynecology, and endoscopy, with additional responsibilities in C-section coverage and post-operative recovery care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Tennessee RN license or a valid multi-state RN license
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS obtained through the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an OR RN
• Proficient knowledge in general surgery, orthopedic, OB, GYN, and endoscopy procedures
• Experience with circulating and patient recovery duties, excluding robotic surgeries

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Coordinate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural accuracy
• Manage patient recovery in the OR, particularly for patients requiring airway management
• Participate in on-call rotations covering weekday and weekend shifts

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Call coverage required during the week and weekends

This is a 13-week contract position suitable for an experienced OR nurse who values a collaborative, patient-focused work environment. Flexibility to cover on-call duties is essential.
