Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies the training needs of various departments and individuals within the organization by working closely with managers, supervisors, and subject matter experts.
  • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to design, develop, and update training programs and materials that align with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Organizes and coordinates delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in person training or through online platforms, ensuring that training is effective and engaging, making necessary adjustments when needed.
  • Creates and manages training schedules to ensure that employees receive the necessary training within specified timeframes, while minimizing disruptions to production.
  • Maintains accurate records of all training activities, generating reports of employee progress for management while staying in compliance for regulatory purposes.
  • Communicates with employees, managers, and leadership to inform them about training opportunities, requirements, and updates.
  • Ensures that training programs comply with regulatory requirements, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Manages and maintains e-learning platforms or Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate online training and track employee progress and completion.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of training programs by collecting feedback from participants and evaluating their performance improvements.
  • Develops and implements onboarding training programs for new hires to ensure they are integrated smoothly into the organization and have the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Continuously improves training programs based on feedback and industry best practices, staying up to date with the latest developments in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Coordinates the training budget, including cost analysis, resource allocation, and vendor selection for external training services to be presented for approval.
  • Coordinates safety training to ensure that employees are aware of and adhere to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assists with training-related activities during regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring that all required training records and documentation are readily available and accurate.
  • Collaborates in other HR department duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager when needed such as the Recruiting process for hourly and salaried employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Bilingual English- Spanish required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience developing and accessing training programs. Experience in a Manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent time management skills
