Our team promotes and produces full tours and one-off dates, offering a 360‑degree tour experience with zero egos. Our specialty is building, developing, and branding artists through white‑label touring while working behind the scenes to let the artist shine. Role Overview The Tour Marketing Director is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic development, execution, and performance of marketing campaigns for nationally booked theater and arena level comedy tours. This role serves as the primary point of contact for tour marketing strategy, budget oversight, partner communication, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is an innovative, data‑driven marketer with deep experience in live entertainment, a strong understanding of budgeting, and the ability to drive high‑impact national campaigns while leading and mentoring a marketing team. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for nationally booked theater and arena tours. Own and manage marketing budgets from announce through day of show, ensuring cost‑efficient spend and strong ROI. Lead on‑sale strategy and execution in coordination with artist teams, venues, ticketing, and internal stakeholders. Serve as the primary strategic partner and relationship lead for artist teams, agents, venue marketers, and media partners. Approve media plans across digital, social, radio, print, outdoor, and promotional channels. Direct the creation and distribution of all tour marketing assets, ensuring brand alignment and creative consistency. Apply advanced analytical skills to guide marketing decisions and optimize campaign effectiveness. Oversee ticket sales pacing, campaign reporting, and analytics, adjusting strategies as needed based on performance data. Provide strategic oversight on digital performance, reporting, and analytics in collaboration with the Digital Specialist. Collaborate closely with booking and ticketing to ensure seamless on‑sales and campaign launches. Lead, mentor, and support the marketing team to ensure strong execution, professional growth, and alignment with organizational goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. 5–7+ years of progressive marketing experience in comedy, live entertainment, touring, or related industries. Proven success leading national or large‑scale tour marketing campaigns across theater and arena tours. Demonstrated experience in mentoring marketing teams, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop talent. Strong budget leadership, including allocation, optimization, and ROI analysis. Exceptional client‑facing skills with a track record of building strong relationships with artists, managers, agents, venues, and media partners. Expert‑level communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating strategy to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Advanced analytical ability with experience interpreting campaign performance data to inform strategic decisions. Deep knowledge of multi‑channel media planning, digital marketing, and best practices in live event/touring promotion. Proficiency with marketing software, analytics tools, ticketing systems, and project management platforms. Highly creative problem‑solver with the ability to navigate complex situations under pressure. Passion for comedy, live events, and artist development. Competitive salary with growth potential.
