We are looking for an experienced, Houston-based, Technical Sales Representative to join our team in the chemical manufacturing industry. We have a diverse product line of industrial chemicals (think along the lines of sealants, adhesives, and more) which are used by a wide range of businesses. Due to continued growth and demand for our services, we are looking for someone to take over existing accounts and prospect their own book of business in Houston and surrounding areas.

What You Will Be Doing

You're an expert in your field, connecting Houston-area businesses with our top of the line catalog of industrial chemicals and solutions.

- Run the full sales cycle
- Reactivate and service existing accounts
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities
- Consult and advise to match businesses' needs with our solutions
- Maintain, service, and grow your accounts

What You Need for this Position

While this is a sales-heavy role, we are open to considering applicants coming from chemical manufacturing roles with an interest in entering a sales field! Sales training will be provided but technical expertise/product knowledge is a must.

Must have:
- 3+ years B2B sales
- 3+ years industry experience
- Willing/able to travel to Houston and surrounding area accounts
- High school degree or equivalent

Nice to have:
- Experience selling similar product lines
- Knowledge of businesses in Houston area
- College degree / some college

What's In It for You

No expectations of coming to an office every day, but you must be based in the Houston area and willing/able to travel to accounts in your territory on a regular basis

- Base Salary: $60K-$80K (DOE)
- Commission (OTE: $100K++)
