Description
Leidos Corporate Group has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator to join our IT Services team in San Diego – CA.
In this role, you will provide frontline support in our IT Operations Support Center and interact heavily with large portion of the IT Services team, as well as serve as a be a vital link to the developers / application support teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience related to systems administration. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or equivalent scheduling solution.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tool.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to dialog with colleagues, peers, management, customers, and developers to resolve issues.
Capacity to work independently, or with others, under little supervision.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Critical Incident Management
Exposure to Engineering Management (EMGT) performance monitoring
Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages
Knowledge of Linux, UNIX, or PowerShell
Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as NetBackup
Conceptual understandings of Project Management, Cloud computing, Agile methodologies (especially SAFe), Server and Storage administration, and Network operations
