Job Description

Lake Washington School District is seeking qualified candidates for school building administrator substitute opportunities during the 2025-2026 school year. This general posting will be used to build an applicant pool for various substitute roles that may arise during the year. Qualifications Washington State Administrator credential with a Principal endorsement. Pay Rate The hourly rates depend on the assignment, based on the 2024-2025 schedule: Position Title Level Pay Step 1 Contracted 260 $161,006.00 Day Substitute Rate 218 $77.41/hr Elementary AP 1 $161,006.00 MS & Alternative School AP 2 $168,992.00

HS AP 3 $177,374.00

Elementary Principal 4 $181,719.00 MS, Alternative School Principal & WANIC Director 5 $186,172.00 HS Principal 6 $199,900.00 Sub Admin 1-5 days - 85% of Elementary Principal Substitutes working 5+ consecutive days will receive the same rate as the regular pro-rated salary for that assignment. Substitute administrators work 218 days, less all front-loaded leave: 30 PTO days and 12 sick days.
