Job Description

We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, and creative SRE Engineer with a strong background in computer science to expand the global footprint of Data Center Infrastructure Monitoring (DCIM). DCIM platform provides near real-time transparency into operating condition of datacenters to our customers and Operations team.
As a key member of the Data Center Infrastructure Monitoring Engineering team you will be involved in deploying DCIM globally, development of software accelerators to speed up the onboarding, monitoring, and management of DCIM Data Quality and service availability, and production support. You will work with local and global Operation Engineering Team(s) and product managers to expand the footprint of DCIM application.

 

  Responsibilities:

• Deploying DCIM solutions
• Develop the software tools / scripts to expedite and optimize process
• Monitor and manage DCIM Data Quality
• Handle production incidents
• Monitor and manage DCIM service availability
• Engage and communicate test results and highlight potential risks to stakeholders and should suggest them any mitigation steps as well
• Contribute to automation and improvement of overall onboarding process / experience
• Collaborates with all key stakeholders through effective communication 

• +3 Years of experience
• Programming skills with knowledge in Data Structures, Concurrency, Algorithms, Big Data Systems, Design Patterns 
• SRE experience in deploy, monitor & support on Docker / Kubernetes / Java/J2EE, Oracle, Perl, Linux, InfluxDB, Grafana, ELK stack etc.
• Should have good knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, Jenkins, Rancher etc.
• Hands-on experience in Big-data technologies or willingness to fast learn
• Experience with No SQL technologies
• Nice to have: Experience is stream processing technologies like Apache Flink, Storm or Spark
• Experience in deploying and supporting Java based Microservices
• Good knowledge in configuring, integrating & maintaining applications such as API gateways, load balancers, relational databases, and messaging systems
• Basic Networking and Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
