Job Description

Senior/Principal Financial Analyst

Hybrid: 3 days a week working onsite (Tuesday through Thursday) in Chandler AZ, remote work Monday and Friday

Salary: Dependent on experience, range is $105k - $120k plus full benefits and additional perks

What you’ll do at Insight

  • Serve as a strategic finance business partner to sales VPs, primarily supporting the Central and East enterprise/corporate sales teams.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to department and Executive leadership on their forecasts, budgets and all financial aspects of their operational decisions
  • Lead and participate in biweekly and executive sales commit calls, challenging and validating sales forecasts, pipeline, and results.
  • Drive improvements in sales forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting, leveraging Power BI, Excel, and AI tools.
  • Support annual budgeting for OpEx, revenue, and gross profit; track and communicate results to business partners.
  • Perform process improvements and provide recommendations
  • Create internal reports and dashboards. You will be recognized internally as a subject matter expert
  • Proactively identify data insights and value-add opportunities for sales leaders, not just reporting but influencing business decisions.
  • Gather, organize, and present complex financial data and information to several diverse stakeholders/audiences, including executive team and board members
  • Performs various ad-hoc analysis for leaders and key decision makers
  • Collaborate with sales compensation and deal desk teams to align strategy, compensation, and deal shaping.

What you’ll need to join Insight

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting / Finance); Master’s in business administration or other Finance discipline preferred
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced, collaborative environment that offers exposure to senior sales and finance leadership
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in high performing FP&A function, preferably fortune 500
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking including critical/problem solving
  • Adopt a growth mindset with natural curiosity to learn and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Embrace the “yes and” mindset of willingness to help and be a part of the solution
  • Owns responsibilities end-to-end with in an independent manner.
  • Drives FP&A strategic analysis for Sr Executive Leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with various organizational levels
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerBI skills , exposure to AI tools preferred
