Senior Income Tax Accountant
About the Role
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is partnering with a growing North American company to identify a Senior Income Tax Accountant . This professional will leverage their expertise to ensure full tax compliance, support strategic financial operations, and mentor team members within a collaborative accounting environment.


Position Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain tax records for U.S. S-Corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  
  
• Manage tax filings, schedules, quarterly estimates, and extension payments accurately and on time.
  
  
• Review fixed asset reporting and perform detailed tax depreciation calculations .
  
  
• Conduct tax research , analyze findings, and communicate recommendations effectively.
  
  
• Organize and review shareholder tax records and their individual income tax returns .
  
  
• Provide guidance and support to Income Tax Accountants during return preparation.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or MST strongly preferred.
  
  
• 4+ years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting with a focus on S-Corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  
  
• Proven ability to gather, organize, and maintain tax records across multiple entities.
  
  
• Skilled in preparing and managing tax returns, related schedules, quarterly estimates, and extensions .
  
  
• Experience reviewing fixed asset reporting and calculating tax depreciation .
  
  
• Strong capability in conducting tax research and presenting clear, actionable findings.
  
  
• Ability to mentor and support junior tax accountants in return preparation.
  
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; GoSystems experience is a plus.
