Sterling Security is searching for Security Screeners similar to what TSA provides.

Job Descriptions
As a Security Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees within the property. You will be required to conduct security screenings, monitor surveillance equipment, respond to security incidents, and enforce security protocols and procedures.

• Monitor and operate surveillance equipment to detect and prevent security threats.
• Patrol inside/outside, and other designated areas to deter and detect suspicious behavior.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely and efficient manner.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Assist in the implementation of security measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors as needed, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Complete incident reports, log entries, and other documentation related to security activities.
• Participate in training programs and drills to enhance skills and knowledge related to security procedures and protocols.
• Use an X-ray machine or wand.

The candidate must meet the following requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a security professional.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• No FELONIES!
• Successfully pass a fingerprint background and drug test.
• Can walk and stand for long periods.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• CANNOT BE ON YOUR PHONE!

Available Shifts:

AFTERNOONS 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm are available

Training pay is $10.33 after training, pay rate is $17.92 per hour
