As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, particularly in chemical and petrochemical settings.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to help to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
