We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance, respond to emergencies, and facilitate conflict resolution. Responsibilities include reporting out-of-the ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds, responding to security and safety related emergencies, conducting investigations and completing reports, providing security escorts as needed, and delivering excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, valid KY driver's license with satisfactory driving record defined by BHH policy, good organizational, oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance. Preferred requirements include prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field and International Assoc for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification.
