As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by managing entry and exit procedures, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters and/or emergencies.
  • Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and protocols specific to logistics and distribution environments.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or information as needed.
  • Support efforts to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
