What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in a tech and media environment.
  • Carry out customer service duties by responding to inquiries and providing assistance to staff, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in alignment with established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
  • Document observations and incidents in detailed reports as required by site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming atmosphere at the location.
  • Follow emergency response protocols when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or other urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
