As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Screener in New Braunfels, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help control access and verify identification as required by site policies.
  • Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed to relay important information and coordinate response efforts.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
