About the Role:

The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team within the hospitality industry by managing and coordinating all aspects of convention services and hotel bookings. This position ensures seamless communication between clients, sales representatives, and hotel management to deliver exceptional service and maximize revenue opportunities. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing property management systems, and assisting in the preparation of sales proposals and contracts. By effectively identifying and solving problems, the coordinator helps to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role contributes to the growth and reputation of the hotel by ensuring all sales-related activities are executed with professionalism and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, convention services, or hospitality management.
  • Strong knowledge of property management systems and hotel booking procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a large hotel or resort with a focus on convention services.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage convention services and hotel booking requests to ensure client needs are met promptly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with hotel management and rooms division teams to align sales efforts with operational capabilities and availability.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and company information while handling contracts, proposals, and booking details.
  • Utilize property management systems to track reservations, update client information, and generate sales reports.
  • Identify potential issues in the sales process and proactively develop solutions to enhance client experience and operational workflow.
