Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Reading Specialist Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in the Lima, PA area. This is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year with competitive hourly pay, full benefits, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' academic growth.
Provide direct reading instruction to elementary students at Stester Elementary School
Design and implement lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards
Use formative assessments and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Demonstrate mastery of reading content, instructional strategies, and resource materials
Maintain student records and monitor progress in reading development
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to support student achievement
Effectively manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning environment
Active Pennsylvania Reading Specialist Certification (Required)
Must have previous experience working in a school setting
Must complete and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
Strong classroom and behavior management skills
Experience working in urban school environments preferred
Must be comfortable with the district and location
Must be able to work onsite
Must be available for a Zoom interview
Initial phone screening with Soliant recruiter required prior to district consideration
