Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions, to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will focus on creating and maintaining data models, reporting and procuring data. The BI Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that provide actionable insights. A key aspect of this role is leveraging Microsoft Fabric for data integration, data warehousing, and analytics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Descriptive Statement(s) % of Time Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. 35% Utilize Microsoft Fabric for end-to-end data analytics, including data engineering, data warehousing. 25% Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data requirements. 15% Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. 10% Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all BI solutions. 5% Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within the Microsoft ecosystem. 5% Stay up-to-date with the latest BI trends and Microsoft technologies, including MS Fabric. Assist in the development and documentation of BI standards and best practices, with a focus on Microsoft tools. 5% The total amount of time for all functions of the job 100%

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. MCSA in Power Bi preferred Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in a BI developer role. Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling). Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics). Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Dataflows, etc.). Experience with BI reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Understanding of Microsoft Fabric, including its components (Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Power BI integration). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications. Ability to compose professional internal and external business communications including reports, memos, letters, and e-mails.
