All Student Life Marketing staff will contribute to the creation, implementation, and assessment of various marketing and communications initiatives to promote the Office of Student Life and its 30 plus departments. Job Summary The Graphic Designer plays a key role in creating a wide variety of digital and print designs for campaigns, signage, social media, brochures, posters, and more. This role involves researching, concept creation, collaboration, and finalizing designs to the highest standards. The Graphic Designer works closely with the Student Life Marketing team and professional staff/clients from departments across the Office of Student Life. Department-Specific Responsibilities Collaborate with full-time staff, student copywriters, and other team members to develop creative solutions for campaigns. Design digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) while adhering to design principles and targeting the appropriate audience. Follow the project management process and Creative Brief to guide the design and production process. Conduct research on background information, past designs, and inspiration to inform design decisions. Communicate internally regarding critiques, updates, and project statuses. Communicate with clients to ensure project completion and provide digital files for production. Qualifications
