Overview The TVFCU Senior Graphic Designer will produce creative collateral for all business lines, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand from concept to final product and utilizing creative programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of creative development, interpersonal and production skills. This position will work in a fast-paced marketing environment on a vast array of design projects ranging from printed marketing collaterals to digital assets including web, display ads, and video. This role will work closely with other team members to produce engaging visual content across multiple channels, both print and digital, participate in strategy discussions, mentor other members of the team, and support the brand’s presence at public events. Works under the direction of the Creative Services Manager to develop creative assets for innovative marketing initiatives for all credit union business lines. Acts as a source of knowledge and ideas, providing value-added creative insights on how to represent the credit union to the public across all marketing channels. Consistently delivering fresh ideas and designs to support strategic campaigns across social media, digital advertising, print advertising, email platforms, and other various channels. Coordinates creative work to ensure work is delivered on time and to standard, all within brand standards. Designs and coordinates the development of all creative assets including digital (web and social), print (brochures, direct mail, posters), photography, and video. Creates templated designs for marketing materials to be used by the creative team such as social media, digital assets, signage, email, video templates and various other materials. Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, brainstorm ideas, and deliver high-quality design solutions that meet objectives and deadlines. Coordinates creative requirements, expectations, and deadlines for all projects. Coordinates and prioritizes incoming creative requests. Provides design advice, guidance and mentoring to other members of the creative team. Consistently seeks opportunities for personal and professional skill development to assist in providing services to grow the brand. Communicates clearly and efficiently to ensure deadlines are met for all projects. Tracks and measures campaign performance, provides recommendations for improvement and optimizes assets as needed. Maintains printing and distribution of printed materials. Pre-press projects and organizes files for print production, with a solid understanding of the printing process, finishing techniques, paper quality trends/knowledge and can review proofs. Interacts professionally with internal clients and external vendors to complete marketing-related tasks. Works closely with outside vendors and printing companies to ensure standards are met and work is delivered on time. Apply professional graphic design principles and develop new ideas to support marketing initiatives. Take initiative to determine when others need help and assist as needed. Occasionally attend community and promotional events as a representative of the Marketing team. Proactively demonstrate the TVFCU core values of integrity, honesty, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, accountability and strong relationships in every interaction with members. Perform other duties as assigned. Educational And Work Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar. Minimum of 7 years design experience. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print design work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; Xpress & Premiere Pro is a plus). WordPress, Hubspot, and basic HTML experience. Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate with other designers on the same project. Strong understanding of design principles. Basic understanding of marketing principles. The ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to design within branding standards and expand existing branding. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others. Well-developed verbal, listening, written and creative design skills. Must be able to work occasional evening and weekend events. Excellent time management, planning and problem solving.
