Material Handlers
We are urgently seeking Temporary Material Handlers to join our client, an e-commerce logistics company based in Charlotte, NC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting packages, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within the warehouse. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the logistics industry and work with major retailers!
Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary
- Location: Charlotte, NC 28214
- Pay Rate: $16.00/hr. per hour
- Crew 1: 3rd shift, 10:00pm until finished (typically 3:00am), Monday through Friday
- Crew 2: 3rd shift ,10:00pm until finished (typically 3:00am, Saturday and Sunday
Roles and Responsibilities:
Unload trucks and place items on the conveyor belt
Scan and sort packages into the designated areas within the warehouse
Assist delivery drivers in packing up items for delivery
Rotate with another team member to unload trucks to prevent injuries
Adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing a safety vest and closed-toed shoes
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with a diverse team
Qualifications & Skills:
No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
