Hotel Night Auditor - - Part Time - Weekend Shift

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or hospitality roles preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
• Proficiency in computer skills and hotel PMS (property management system) software.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time management and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks and work efficiently during a night shift.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Calm and composed demeanor to handle unexpected situations and maintain composure under pressure.
• Reliability and integrity to adhere to ethical standards and ensure confidentiality of financial information.

Responsibilities: This list is not a comprehensive list of all duties and responsibilities associated with this position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• Balance and reconcile all daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of cash handling, guest charges, and revenue reports.
• Post room rates and taxes, update guest ledger accounts, and generate accurate nightly audit reports for management.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes during late hours, providing courteous and efficient service to arriving and departing guests.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, resolving concerns and issues with professionalism and platinum service.
• Communicate promptly with other departments about guest needs, potential security issues, or operational updates.
• Reconcile credit card and cash transactions, analyze account discrepancies, and initiate chargebacks when necessary

Compensation/Pay: $16 - $17
