Care: Together with three other Neurologists, you provide specialized care and support to outpatient clinic and inpatients. As a neurologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders. You will work in a dynamic environment. You will be part of a fast-paced department that thrives on teamwork and passion to provide high quality care, emotional support, and guidance throughout the healthcare process. Guidance: You provide instruction and guidance to residents, specialist trainees, student nurses, assistants, caregivers, and interns. Quality: You play a crucial role in ensuring and improving the quality of care within healthcare. Improving in direct patient care and enhancing the overall quality and efficiency of the hospital. You demonstrate compliance with hospital safety policies and procedures. We also offer you the opportunity to follow accredited further training both in Aruba and abroad at the expense of the hospital. We will advise and support you on matters related to relocation, registration, and employment in Aruba. Job requirements Completed medical education and specialization in Neurology; Valid medical license (specialist registration); Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Able to work well both independently and as a team; Experience in conducting tests within clinical neurophysiology, such as electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies; Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency cases; Able to deal with criticism and provide feedback; Has a great sense of responsibility and is able to perform well under pressure; Able to communicate in Dutch or English and is willing to learn Papiamento.
