NetSuite Functional Consultant Job Description

The NetSuite Functional Consultant is responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of NetSuite ERP solutions to meet client business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate these into effective NetSuite solutions. The Functional Consultant works closely with clients to gather requirements, configure the system, and provide training and support to ensure a successful deployment and ongoing usage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist the NetSuite Solutions Consultant or Senior Functional Consultants in providing accurate estimate, tailor fit to the business requirements of potential clients
• Assist the the NetSuite Practice lead or Senior Functional Consultant in crafting Scope of Work for potential and existing clients
• Lead the end-to-end implementation, optimization and managed services for NetSuite projects, working closely with clients to understand their unique business processes and configuring NetSuite to align with their needs.
• Provide guidance on NetSuite best practices, offering strategic insights to optimize system performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Conduct detailed interviews and workshops with clients to understand their business processes, needs, and challenges.
• Document business requirements and create functional specifications.
• Analyze current systems and processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Cultivate strong client relationships by effectively communicating with stakeholders, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring NetSuite solutions meet and exceed expectations as well as handling client escalations, as needed
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users, fostering user adoption and ensuring clients are equipped to maximize the benefits of NetSuite. Offer ongoing support to address queries and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement custom solutions, integrations, and enhancements to extend NetSuite functionality
