Job Title: Fabrication / Construction / Millwork Project Manager (General Contractor or Manufacturing or fabrication Projects)
Duration: Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Hybrid – Longmont, CO (Travel to job sites as required)

Compensation: $90,000 – $130,000 annually (Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors)

Position Summary

The Construction / Millwork Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of fabrication and shop-based projects, from kickoff through closeout. This role involves coordinating production workflows, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring quality control standards, and collaborating closely with production, purchasing, and leadership teams. The Project Manager serves as a key representative of the company and is expected to act professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Review shop drawings, blueprints, and renderings to support project proposals and execution
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and hardware
• Research and recommend new materials and suppliers as needed
• Develop project proposals and estimates in collaboration with the estimating team and senior management
• Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules with Production Management
• Ensure all fabrication and production work meets design intent and quality expectations
• Monitor project performance and provide feedback to the Director of Projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, SOPs, and management direction

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of industry-standard project management practices
• Proven experience managing projects executed under General Contractors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, Teams, Planner, Gantt charts, and procurement tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage electronic communications using email, chat, and cloud-based collaboration platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate options and implement effective solutions
• Ability to interpret and translate 2D drawings into 3D fabricated components
• Working knowledge of basic math, including fractions, decimals, and metric conversions

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Rhinoceros (Rhino) for drawing and design applications
• Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)3–5 years of experience managing projects in manufacturing, fabrication, millwork, or general construction
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
