Marketing Specialist - On Call
Apply locations Las Vegas, NV time type Part time posted on Posted 13 Days Ago job requisition id R0012030 The incumbent is responsible for assisting Marketing coordinators and Marketing Manager with planning, developing and managing brand assets across the property. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for helping to ensure that the layout, positioning, navigation, and look and feel of content are consistent across and throughout the organization.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing marketing activities across select verticals including casino, entertainment, food & beverage, and hotel as directed
- This role will be the keeper of the Marketing calendars and assist with setting the cadence for promotions, offers, asset trafficking, Influencer/PR/VIP visits, and reporting
- The specialist will execute ongoing campaigns and projects for events, traffic drivers, and photo / video shoots as directed
- In addition, this role will help to produce, schedule, and deploy digital content
- The role will collaborate with marketing leadership, internal clients, creative, production, and tech teams to help the team drive strategic marketing initiatives to completion
- Conduct digital audits of the resort websites and keep information up to date
- Coordinate and follow up on creative projects relating to various departments
- Author creative briefs for marketing assets, collateral, ads, posters/flyers, and digital campaigns
- Gather and send upcoming events listings to 3rd party promoters
- Coordinate and execute website content briefs, update website with new content
- Organize, select, file, and distribute digital assets across multiple platforms, work with Creative Project Manager for a continuous process and workflow
- Capture, produce, create, and submit original social media content as needed for approval for Entertainment channels; including attending events to capture and post real-time content
- Partner with PR/Social teams and Operations to ensure journalists, influencers, and other VIPs are appropriately managed pre-stay, while on-property, and post-stay
- Produce monthly reports, snapshots, and ad hoc reports
- May work directly with promotions team on special projects, activations, gifting, research, & general activities
Qualifications:
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day, full of energy, a whip-smart multi-tasker
- Detail oriented, organized, and have excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Konami player tracking system, a plus.
- Working knowledge with loyalty and rewards program(s) in a digital environment and customer journey mapping.
- Experience with computer graphics and multimedia design, a plus.
- Working knowledge of analytical skills; both quantitative and qualitative.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting a plus.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license
