Job Description

Marketing: Administrative Assistant/ Proofreader
This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is an in-office job

Job Overview
This position will assist the marketing team with developing creative digital marketing strategies and utilizing techniques to direct customers to our online platforms to purchase products and services
The responsibilities included within this position are creating content, both graphic and written, along with using industry and social media trends to further promote the company.

Audit Retail & Wholesale Website Pages
  • Ensure all online items match latest information listed within the List Price book
  • Fill out a spread sheet with details from the audit and dates the materials were viewed
  • Confirm asset files are up-to-date
    • Bathroom Faucets
    • Bathroom Hardware
    • Bathroom Accessories
    • Kitchen Faucets
    • Sinks of All Types
  • Conduct quarterly audits - reviewing one category at time
  • All issues will be reported to the Marketing Manager
Proof Reading Marketing Materials
Review new and previous marketing materials to ensure that all the information and formatting is correct and is the most up-to-date
The following are examples of the type of materials that this position would review:
    • Catalog Sheets
    • Installation Instructions
    • Packaging Materials
    • Warranty Sheet
    • Price Book
    • Website Content
    • Shared Drive

Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain spread sheet of required terms and formatting for materials
  • Take inventory of all literature and Point of Purchase material monthly - send this report to the Marketing Manager
  • Load thumb drives to send to sales teams
  • Maintain sales representatives' addresses and contact lists for mailings and email blasts

Requirements and Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED certificate
    • Organizational skills
    • Time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Good communications skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Detail oriented
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Photoshop/Illustrator/Adobe Acrobat - Creative Suites
    • Works well independently with minimal supervision
