Wabtec Corporation is looking for a skilled Maintenance Electronics Technician to join our growing team in Salem, VA. Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate:

$28.00 - $33.50/hour (Based on experience)

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance on CNC and manual machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair furnaces and other critical foundry equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate documentation per quality standards.
• Learn new technical skills to support equipment reliability and performance.
• Communicate clearly with other departments on equipment status and work progress.
• Follow safety protocols, especially Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Department Leader.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong electronics background and knowledge of PLC ladder logic.
• Ability to learn CNC diagnostics and repair.
• Proficiency using CMMS and basic computer applications.
• Familiarity with phone and data transmission systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Consistent adherence to all safety standards.
