Intake Counselor

Roxbury is currently hiring full-time Intake Counselors to work in our admissions department. We are currently recruiting for the following: Full-time Evening 8-hour shifts available. $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!! This is a great opportunity to gain experience with our patient population.

The Admissions Counselor provides telephonic and in-person assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.

The schedule for this position is at Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 40 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications: Admissions Counselor Job Requirements include a Masters's degree in a psychology-related field is preferred or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field required.
