Job Description

Overview

Incident Response Project Manager for external, client-facing projects within the Incident Response team. You will drive successful, thorough project deliverables that secure enhancements to clients technical environments. You will be the primary face of the team on client calls, establish trust, and guide incident containment and recovery efforts in coordination with the lead engineer. You will participate in on-call rotations and report to the Director of Incident Response PMO.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multiple external technical projects from inception to completion using established processes, templates, and methodologies.
  • Lead professional services stand-ups and meetings; collaborate on project planning, design, deliverables, timelines, and contingency planning.
  • Translate SOW requirements into executable project plans; manage resources and budgets; track time entries and scope; apply measures to contain scope; ensure QA standards before delivery.
  • Outline goals, strategy, and execution with Entaras engineers; assist in triage and access for project kickoff; drive development of proposals and scope documentation; address disagreements with conflict management; assign resources and monitor capacity.
  • Monitor and summarize project progress for stakeholders (Entara Leadership, Finance, Client Contacts, IR Partners); conduct status meetings and prepare PowerPoint presentations and project reports as needed.
  • Participate in incident response on-call rotation for incoming IR projects; escalate issues to higher-level resources when necessary; address billing disputes and post-mortems to drive process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Four-year degree in a relevant field preferred; PMP certification or working toward it is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of IT project management experience delivering waterfall projects with systems and virtualization in enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to manage client-facing projects, build consultative relationships, and achieve high client satisfaction at project closure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to executives and engineers; professional, clear, and persuasive communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage timelines, expectations, and resources in a dynamic, on-call environment.
  • Flexible working hours; willingness to extend work into evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; occasional travel to client sites; competitive compensation and benefits; remote-work readiness with a private home office and reliable internet (at least 50 Mbps).
