Inbound, Claims Call Center Representative

Join for the Inbound, Claims Call Center Representative role at Zurich North America .

Zurich North America is a leading multi?line insurer serving individuals, small businesses, and large companies worldwide. We are seeking confident, outgoing, and self?motivated Customer Care Professionals to join our dedicated Claims Call Center team in February 2026. This role offers an in?depth 6?week training that covers everything youll need to get started.

All candidates hired must live within the Schaumburg, IL metropolitan area training will take place in?person at our Schaumburg, IL office. After training is completed, the role will be remote within the United States.

Day?to?Day Responsibilities


  • Process clients first notice of loss claim reports received through Zurichs phone and non?phone reporting options in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Resolve complex claims inquiries and problems, judging when to pass complex queries on to or involve others in order to provide an effective service and clear advice to colleagues and customers.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to exchange information, clarify facts, and resolve queries and/or problems efficiently.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the team to improve the quality of customer care.
  • Follow procedures to ensure adherence to the companys risk and compliance policies.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • +6 months of customer service experience.
  • Data entry experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of call center experience.
  • Strong data entry skills; ability to type 32 WPM or more.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
  • Strong comprehension skills and professional demeanor.
  • Solid oral & written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid problem?solving skills.
  • Insurance knowledge preferred.


Work From Home Office Requirements
  • Designated workspace free from noise and other distractions.
  • Minimum stable, high?speed internet connection of at least 5?Mbps up and 10?Mbps down.


The pay for this position is based on role, location, skills, and experience. The proposed hourly rate is $21.21/hr, with short?term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%. Additional bonuses and merit increases may apply.
