Position Summary

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/processes/systems are running effectively.
• Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
• Teamwork and Communication: Able to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
• Shift: B or D shift

Skills and Qualifications

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required:

• Any 2-year technical certification (TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC, etc); 3+ ASE certs or 4 years Semiconductor Technician experience (no cert, passes test) or 4 years equivalent technical Military service

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools: List MOST important requirements first. Then, list soft skills and desired (but not required), experience:

• Department specific Equipment Knowledge (AMAT, LAM, )
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation
• Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes also required.
• Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills
• Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment
• High level of initiative and desire to learn
• Familiar with TPM concepts
• Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
• Ability to meet due dates for action items
• Successful candidates will strictly adhere to SOPs.
• Reliable and punctual attendance required.
• Work off-hours if necessary
• Electro-mechanical aptitude, Basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity
