Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, support and training to housekeeping and laundry staff for an 85 room luxury boutique hotel.
• Perform the tasks of a Room Attendant, Houseman, or Laundry Attendant as needed.
• Ensure hotel operations and standards are being properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction.
• Reports guest / employee complaints immediately to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Implement and ensure that proper key controls are in effect.
• Effectively communicate with team members.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
• Interact in a positive way with other departments to ensure a luxury guest experience.
• Must be a leader of The Allison standards, and a champion of grooming and appearance guidelines.

Job Skills/Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping and laundry experience, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, early mornings, late evenings and holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
• Ability to bend, lift, stretch, walk up/down stairs, push, pull, and handle items with good finger dexterity.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
• An enthusiastic, positive demeanor and desire to provide exceptional guest service.
• Background Check.
• Drug Screening

Working conditions/Physical Requirements

• Work on your feet for 6 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for moderate to long distances throughout shift.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach to perform job tasks.
• Routinely required to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds over moderate distances.
• Frequent use of stairs, daily.
• Flexibility and good reflexes required.
